"ORIENT FLIGHT"

Beitragvon TALLTREES » 20. Okt 2009, 14:14

Hello again. Could any member confirm the Sieger Catalouge number for a Cover flown on the "ORIENT FLIGHT" with a "CAIRE" 28-MR-29 - 6.30 A Backstamp?, Sieger only list " Er Ramle" Backstamp.
Thanks again
TALLTREES.

Hi TALLTREES,
in theory, almost any Orient Flight cover can bear the Caire arrival postmark, but an image of your cover would make it much easier to identify the precise and correct Sieger number.... ;)

Hi,
this is the regular Er Ramle drop, Sieger number 23.IA.
Only a few items were postmarked at Er Ramle, from Er Ramle the mail was sent by surface to its destination, in your case Caire.
